Basic data and construction of the incubator:

  • Inner volumes: 50 liters, 170 liters and 240 liters
  • Inner compartment made of stainless steel or optionally* made of copper, smooth, round corners for easy cleaning and preventing contamination
  • Air coat (Air Jacket) for thermal insulation of the interior from temperature fluctuations in the immediate vicinity
  • Direct heating for speed heating (so-called Direct Heat); all 6 internal walls of the incubator (including the door) are divided into 3 groups whose functionality is controlled by a microprocessor to ensure high accuracy and uniformity of temperature and humidity and to prevent vapor deposition (which can be a source of contamination)
  • Air circulation with fan - very high uniformity of all parameters inside the incubator*2
  • Reversible double-sided door (opening to the left or right, or later reassembled)
  • Airtight door closure to reduce input gas consumption
  • Inner door can be optionally* divided into 4 parts, with sealing and latching
  • Door grommets to use external sensor
  • Optional* rack and other accessories

 

Measuring and maintaining parameters inside the box:

  • Dual IR sensor of CO2 concentration, microprocessor-controlled concentration range, range 0-20%, accuracy ± 0.1%, high uniformity due to ventilation
  • Optional* O2 concentration sensor, microprocessor-controlled concentration, range 1 - 20.7% ± 0.1%, high uniformity due to ventilation, (O2 concentration is reduced inside the incubator via nitrogen feed)
  • Temperature range: ambient temperature + 3 ° C to 60 ° C, microprocessor-controlled precision and uniformity thanks to direct heating and ventilation
  • Humidity up to 97% thanks to the water tank at the bottom of the incubator (directly above one of the heaters), high uniformity due to ventilation, optional* moisture sensor
  • Intelligent microprocessor control of the set parameters is fast and without exceeding the set parameters (so-called "Fast Recovery, No Overshoot")

 

Contamination Protection:

  • Air flows via ULPA filter (approx. 10 times more efficient than a classic HEPA filter) that keeps it sterile and prevents contamination* 2
  • Automatically shut down of the fan when opening the door prevents contamination*2
  • Direct Heat (see above) prevents vapor precipitation, which can be the source of contamination
  • Interior is smooth and has round corners for easy cleaning and contamination prevention
  • Interior space is optionally* made of copper that has antimicrobial effects
  • Patented, non-removable antimicrobial coating "IsoCide" on the surface of the incubator's main body contains an inhibitor that prevents contamination
  • You can add antimicrobial substances (i.e.blue rock) as an effective prevention of water contamination into the water in evaporation tray
  • Thermal sterilization is already at the cost of the incubator, the cycle lasts 15 hours and includes heating, decontamination at 90 ° C, drying and cooling (thanks to the decontamination pump, the cycle is faster and especially the incubator at the end of the cycle has the room temperature and is completely dry; other competing incubators with a similar decontamination cycle using hot steam does not have this pump and needs to be wiped out, which can cause contaminated), this decontamination system of the interior is integrated and there is no need to buy any other tools (eg. some competing CO2 incubators are decontaminated using peroxide and the peroxide maker has to be purchased later), while being very effective against eg.UV decontamination
  • Incoming gases are filtered, the wear of these filters can easily be visually inspected (on the back of the incubator without need of any disassembly; the filters are getting dark when old or dirty)

 

Alarms and Parameter tracking system inside the incubator:

    • automatic CO2 check in the cylinder with an alarm, optional* gas regulator for gas cylinders to protect against overpressure of the gas supply
    • Optional* built-in automatic switch to the second CO2 cylinder without fluctuation
    • Intuitive control, graphical display, direct display of current parameters, security alarms
    • Integrated 16MB internal memory for long-term data recording (temperature, CO2 concentration, error messages, ...)
    • Optional* Data-logging function for monitoring and writing parameters inside the incubator via a PC (multiple ESCO instruments can be monitored via a single PC)
    • Optional* Data acquisition, graphs, email alert
