  • Strip drying function
  • Time-saving operation
  • User-friendly software for easy and intuitive operation

Technical details about DYNABLOT Automatic

  • Dynablot Automatic is an instrument that fully automates blot processing. The only manual step is to insert strips into the reaction wells. Other activities, from barcode readings, reagent dosing and extraction, pipetting and sample dilutions to final screening of strip images by the camera are performed automatically.
  • Reagents are filled with peristaltic pumps that are easy to handle on the front of the instrument. Pumps allow reverse operation. This makes it possible to choose the function of preventing the formation and transfer of droplets between adjacent strips and returning the dead volume of reagents from tubing back to bottles after the last use in protocol run.
  • Stirring of the contents of the reaction wells during the incubation is accomplished by soaking the tray well holder. Slow, medium, or high speeds can be selected.
  • Liquids from the reaction wells are sucked out using an integrated vacuum pump and then directed to a waste bottle that contains a level sensor to prevent overflow.
  • All dosing tubes can be easily replaced.
  • The small dimensions and low noise of the instrument are an advantage.

Instrument control

  • PC control (USB interface), choice of SW language.
  • User-friendly SW.
  • Easily create and import assays; simultaneous running of various (compatible) assays within one device run.
  • Storing and exporting strip images to the evaluation SW.

Sample processing

  • Up to 44 positions for primary tubes in the rack.
  • Reading barcodes from primary tubes
  • Pipetting specimens using an accurate pipetting system
  • Dilution of samples directly into the reaction wells using one of the reagent pumps.

Reagents manipulation

  • Reaction wells for up to 44 strips.
  • 8 peristaltic pumps for reagent filling.
  • Vacuum suction of the reaction wells into a 4 liter vacuum bottle with overflow control.

Snapshots of strips by camera

  • Monochromatic CCD camera with resolution 2592 x 1944 pixels, 490 DPI.
  • Green LED lighting.
  • Strip images are captured and stripped sequentially on the strip.
