Food intolerance

Tests on food intolerance have recently been included in the EUROIMMUN test portfolio. These tests are done on blots and are available in two versions:

- for the determination of 108 foods or food supplements

- for the determination of 216 foods or food supplements

It should be noted that the food intolerance test is not a test for the determination of an allergic reaction (ie for the detection of IgE antibodies) but an IgG-type antibody test. Food intolerances that are caused by the inadequate function of some enzymes can cause a number of adverse reactions.
