Viral RNA extraction
One of the most significant innovations in our portfolio is a high-throughput solution from a renowned manufacturer with a daily capacity of over 1000 samples. The extraction is based on the principle of magnetic beads and uses the unique technology of rotating magnetic tips, on which the magnetic beads with bound RNA are transferred, in contrast to the methods using a magnetic stand and reagent transfer. This technology reduces the risk of cross-contamination. This isolator can be used as a stand-alone device, but also in combination with an automatic pipetting system. For high-throughput laboratories, we also offer a system combining a pipetting machine and an isolator in one device.
The golden mean is a compact table isolator that allows you to extract 48 samples in 30 minutes. The device uses nucleic acid extraction on the principle of magnetic particles and offers a convenient solution in the form of pre-filled cartridges. Capacity up to 500 samples in 8 hours. There is also an isolator with a capacity of 12 samples (96 samples in 8 hours).
Last, but not least, we can offer you manual extraction kits based on the principle of nucleic acid separation by the column method. Let us also mention the possibility of using an extraction solution for the immediate extraction of viral RNA with CE certification.
SARS-CoV-2 detection using RT-PCR
We are very pleased to announce that we are able to equip your laboratory with real-time PCR cyclers from a renowned brand. These 5-channel plate-type cyclers with a capacity of 96 samples are reliable devices that offer the advantage of an open platform. In our offer of diagnostics, you will find real-time PCR kits with CE IVD certification. Fully automatic systems are the future of molecular diagnostics and we have something to offer you in this category as well - a comprehensive automatic solution integrating nucleic acid extraction and real-time PCR, including evaluation. The system processes up to 144 samples in 8 hours with continuous release of results and the possibility of inserting samples without the need to work in series.
SARS-CoV-2 antibodies and antigen detection
Antibody tests are important in the later stage of the disease eventually for epidemiological studies. Anti-SARS-CoV-2 ELISA kits are available in IgA and IgG classes. The so-called rapid tests for the determination of antigen, which are now on sale, can also be used as a suitable and rapid screening test, but confirmation by the PCR method is then required.
